John S. Langley

John Langley is a shareholder in the Corpus Christi office of Donnell, Abernethy & Kieschnick. He is a trial lawyer whose practice includes insurance defense litigation; medical malpractice litigation; and toxic tort litigation.

John is a member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and Texas Bar Foundation.

Born in Auburn, Alabama, John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 from the University of Alabama. After receiving his bachelors degree, John was an Airborne Intelligence Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army from 1983-1986. During this time, he served as a member of the Multinational Force and Observers Peace Keeping Mission in the Middle East. After serving in the armed forces, John returned to the University of Alabama and received his Juris Doctor in 1989. While in law school, John was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, 1988-1989, and was Associate Editor for the Law and Psychology Review, 1988-1989. After law school, John was a briefing attorney to the Honorable Howell Cobb, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas from 1989-1990. John is admitted to practice as a member of the State Bar of Alabama, the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
