Clay Coalson is a shareholder in the Corpus Christi office of Donnell, Kieschnick, Wolter & Gamez. His practice includes appellate law, insurance law, and civil litigation. Clay is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Clay is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Corpus Christi Bar Association.

Born in Kingsville, Texas, Clay received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from Texas A&I University in Kingsville in 1983. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Houston in 1987. He is Martindale-Hubbell AV rated.

Clay is admitted to practice as a member of the Texas State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

During law school, Clay served as the Research Editor for the Houston Law Review from 1986-1987. He was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barons.
